Direct-fired Heaters

Tulsa Combustion designs direct-fired heaters that incorporate one or more burners to generate hot gases that transfer heat energy to a process liquid or gas flowing directly through coils installed internally to the heater vessel. Direct-fired heaters use either radiant or convective heat transfer sections or a combination of both transfer methods. Common heater configurations include vertical cylindrical and horizontal cabin styles. Direct-fired heaters can fire many different fuels and can be designed and manufactured to meet virtually any industry code, including those of ASME and API.
